photoshop in-class tutorial three.

For this image I followed photoshop tutorial three to combine the "hands" images with the bird house imagine in a way I thought was interesting. I first started by using the magic wand tool to select each individual hand, and after looking at a breakdown online I realized that you can select multiple items with the magic wand tool. I used the "reselection" tool to clean up the spaces in between the hands that still showed the white background. After cleaning up each hand I used control c and control v to duplicate each hand to its own layer. I then added the birdhouse image into its own layer and rotated each using the control t function (transform) to orient each hand as if it is coming out of the birdhouses. I wish I knew how to clean up the edges of the hands a bit more so that they look flush with the birdhouses, but perhaps I will look it up and touch-up this image in the future.
